Repeating Keywords

Hello,

I am new here and need a little help, I have been reading around and have had some really good information picked up from this site, thanks! My question is, am I allowed to repeat keywords on different pages? I have read somewhere that google does not like that. But it would be impossible to do this because so many of my products are alike.

Link Building Software For Google Links:url

Can someone direct me to a link building software package that will

1. collection urls from Google links:url
2. add linking sites to database
3. allow user to view target and source sites
4. search site and who is for email addresses
5. Select email address for email
6. has editor to compose link request emails
7. track who responds to letters
8. check if they put up a link and track it over time

I have been diligently but unsuccessfully searching the web for such a package. sad.gif

Two Google Accounts

I would rather focus on writing, but I’m faced with an analytics issue, so here goes… I just started working with a client who has two Google accounts - one for their analytics and another for the Adwords. So, they log into one account for their website analytics, and another account for their Adwords.

Is there any way to consolidate the two without losing all the history they have in their analytics account? I’ve done the thing where you give each account access to the other account. But my sneaking suspicion is that they would have to start analytics all over again with the code from the Adwords Google account in order to have it all in one account. Am I making sense?

Thanks,
Andrea

Latest Opinion On Using The No Follow For Page Rank Sculpting

Only reason I ask is that I just saw an article on Search Engine Watch (a link building 101 article) and they recommend the use of the No follow. Not something I would put in a linkbuilding 101 article given all the controversy, but that is just me.

So did the opinions on this change? Is it cool now to use the No Follow? I have done a search on the forum and read the threads, but I am just checking in because I no longer do only seo/sem 24/7?

Thanks in advance.

Quick Shopping Cart (godaddy)

I have a Quick Shopping Cart set up through HostingDude (GoDaddy).
I am only selling one e-book (1 .PDF File).

The product description pages are all dynamic (since they could change at any time).
Also, it is set up as a subdomain of my main page.

Are there any marketing tools to work with this kind of cart?

I could either:
1. Treat it as a different site, and base my SEM accordingly
2. Say “Screw it, it’s all about user-friendliness,” and place a link on my main domain
taking the user DIRECTLY to the checkout page all ready to rock (thus eliminating more clicks for the user).

What should I do?

Redirect To 2 Pages

I was wondering, if you redirect page A to page B. Page B to page C. Is it the same as redirecting page A to page C and Page B to page C.

Rewriting A Subdomain Url + Rankings

Hi Guys,

would love to get a few opinions on something I’ve been thinking about. If I have a rewritten URL - www.example.com/test/ that ranks well for its target keywords and I change the page that sits underneath the rewritten URL to a file that sits on a subdomain on my site (sub.example.com/test2.html) could this potentially effect the rankings of my rewritten URL? Will Google see that the file that sits behind my rewritten URL is now on my subdomain and not give me as much credit?

Thanks for any assistance with this.

Specifics On Using Videos For Rankings?

In using videos to boost PR, which way is the best way to add in URL’s (author, description, etc..)? Should I load the title and description with long-tailed keywords? And should I change them up or keep just a few and use them repeatedly throughout?

I have quite a few videos and I’m trying to figure out what the best way to go about getting them out there and seen… while raising my PR and abiding by Google’s rules.

Thank you.

Client Won’t Include Content - Help

Greetings everyone, this is my first post here @ High Rankings. Please be gentle!

I am relatively new to SEO/SEM, and in my attempt to get my feet wet, have offered my services to a former employer for free. In return, I asked use them as a source for a referral/testimonial, and they agreed. The client is a manufacturer, with 3 websites, and probably hundreds of pages that need attention. Not a small task. For the most part, the company has followed my advice and suggestions to a T. I have spoken to them via conference call several times, and have been working along side the in-house web developer in updating their pages.

However, on one issue, I seem to be hitting a brick wall. I have stressed time and time again that there is little actual content. The web designer seems to be focused on an image-heavy site, using a flash mouse rollover script that contains important content related to their product images. As can be expected, this valuable content is not picked up by search spiders.

Can anyone offer some advice on how to convince them to change their ways?
