Looking For Some Seo Advice (unfound Home Page)

Hi everyone. Thanks ahead of time for any help that I may get.

Here is my problem:

The homepage of one of my sites is not appearing in google search results. If you copy/paste a unique sentence from the home page and google it, you will get no results found. The homepage is indexed in google. I know this by looking at the webmsater tools. It has a PR of 3. The domain is over a year old.

No other page on my site has this problem. I could select unique phrases from other pages in my site, google the phrase, and you will get my site returned.

I have other websites on this same server/hosting account and they do not have this problem. It is just the one site. I have never sold links or anything like that from this site.

Home page has a unique title tag a meta desc. I’ve been trying to figure out this problem for a few months now and am having no luck. I even submitted a reconsideration request to google in October and have not had a response.

Anyone have any ideas as to what would cause a problem like this?

If I cannot figure this problem out, do you think it would be worth the effort to move the site to a different domain? Yes, I would lose all backlinks and everything else that I worked for, but what good is my site if I can’t get the homepage to even be found in the serps? I would also re-do the content on the home page just to not confuse it with the older page. Do you think this is a good idea if I cannot figure out this problem?
