Direct Traffic That Converts

Don makes the following observation in this other thread:

I get a lot of direct traffic that converts very high as well for a relatively unknown site, I am thinking this is an analytics flaw in its ability to remember certain repeat visitors, but I’m not sure. Maybe its just word of mouth?
